Rowbot Street Ltd is an innovative arts production organisation that works with young people and local community groups to create imaginative short films, animations, puppetry and costumes. For over 10 years Rowbot Street has developed and run and wide range of community based projects as well as creating commerical work for dozens of clients, including BBC and S4C. Their recent work includes creating puppets and props for a performance about dementia, which was performed at Oldham Coliseum.
The aim of the organisation is to produce work in such a way that:
- engages people and local groups in the development of small arts projects
- offers opportunities outside formal education to try new skills and work with others
- Tackles issues and subject matter through the use of media
